others users. Users can clearly see the contents of each folder and the status of each

can create any number of coverpages for all different occasions, and when you want to send
a fax you can choose one as your default or select any global or private coverpages as
required. FaxNow! automatically completes your coverpage for you.
FaxNow! User Admin is more than just a program that allows
you to create and amend FaxNow! users. It provides a complete solution for managing
FaxNow! users and user privileges. User groups can be created and populated with members
to allow users to work together or to impose restrictions on FaxNow! folder access, or to
restrict users from dialing specific fax numbers. Users or destinations can be defined as
unauthorized so that faxes must be seen and approved by an authorized user before
transmission is allowed.
Individual details that define a users routing preferences,
defaults, billing code and e-mail address are all configured in User Administration.
FaxNow! supports the latest Network Scanners from Hewlett
Packard. FaxNow! transmits faxes submitted by users directly from the HP Network ScanJet
control panel. In addition, FaxNow! integrates seamlessly with HP’s desktop software
for drag and drop faxing.
Activity Log Reporter provides authorized users with
instant access to FaxNow! activity logs in an easy to user analysis program that provides

future. This aim is adhered to in all areas of our software, including that of the year
2000 issue. There are two main areas where a problem can be encountered with dates,
firstly validating a date at the time of entry and secondly storing the date.
FaxNow! version 3 calendar control
Dates entered manually are validated. FaxNow!, provides users with a custom calendar control, this control will
automatically generate valid dates. Entering dates in this way ensures that no invalid
dates are passed to FaxNow! for storing.

All dates in FaxNow! are stored using a 32-bit value
specifying the number of seconds that have elapsed since 00:00:00 January 1, 1970 (UTC).
This time is supplied to us by the Microsoft Visual C++® runtime library.
| Displaying Dates |
FaxNow! will format dates for display by using the
"Short date style:" of the Windows operating system. This can be set by
launching Control Panel and selecting Regional Settings, Date tab. If at any time you need
clarification of a date stored by FaxNow! we recommend you format the short date style as
the following "dd/mm/yyyy". Doing this will force FaxNow! to display four digits
for a year.
